Well here goes...I'm an unemployed father of 5, was working full-time making good money and then our world has been a trainwreck for the last year and a half. My wife and I had just bought a house in a nice neighbor hood with a good school. Feb,8th of 06 that would all change. My 2 daughters were playing in the kitchen while I was boiling water for dinner when the pot was knocked off by the older one and poured onto the younger one. She was taken to the ER and then transferred to Riley Hospital for children with what turned out to be 3rd degree burns on her arm belly and leg. I was incarcerated for a month while she was in the hospital since they felt I was responsible for the accident. Since my release in march of 06 we have been battling medical bills, fighting to keep our home which we just recently lost in foreclosure, just trying to maintain a normal way of life. I was terminated from my employer over the ordeal and since my felony conviction have been unsucessful in the job market. As of June of 08 i will just have a misdemeanor on my record but the damage has been done. My wife, the "Rock", has now gone out on an indefinate length of medical leave with migraines and seizures due to the stress levels lately. We just got into an Apartment and are now looking at all those bills now. Christmas is coming and no income in sight, also utilities, rent, gas in our van that is on it's last leg, etc etc etc. WHEN DO WE GET A BREAK!!!!! I am at the end of my rope, money, & resources. Family has helped us all they can and we need more help. I am not a begging man and never have liked getting help, I'm stubborn that way but asking anyone now. We need Help
